Liar's Paradox: not perfect analogy

if art does not mean anything beyond it self (i.e. art for art sake)
then art fails to communicate

Shannon, information theory: model of communication; entropy used to
measure error in transmitted message.

if transmitted message is designed specifically to be noise, what is
the error? what is the message? if transmitter has no intent, the
receiver can interpret message in infinite number of ways and never be
wrong. nothing is communicated by the transmitter. the receiver is
only seeing themselves

this art is art… but is it?
